WHAT IS A COMPUTER NETWORK? 

A computer network is a group of computer systems and other computing hardware devices that are linked together through communication channels to facilitate communication and resource-sharing among a wide range of users. Networks are commonly categorized based on their characteristics.

     1ST STEP: Create an Ip Address
2ND STEP: Configure Ip Address
3RD STEP: Set Windows Firewall Settings 
4TH/LAST STEP: Set up ahome or small office networks

 Sharing on network (server)
-Place the file inside the folder
-Right click the folder
-Click properties
-Click Sharing 
-Click share the folder on the network
-Click Apply 
-Click Okay

 Checking the file
-Click Start Button
-Click Run
-then type "(Ip address)"

 Sharing Printer
-Click Control Panel 
-Click Add Printer
-Click Printer
-Click Sharing
-Click Share this printer
-Click Apply
-Click OK

 Connecting printer on a network 
-Click run
-then type "[IpAddressofserver]
-Double click Printer and faxes
-Click connect
